Jana is a writer with a purpose. Her mission in life is to change the world, one book at a time. Jana writes books with subjects that she feel passionate about, and she hopes her readers feel the same. Whether it's climate change, refugees, equal rights, friendship, animals, faeries or history, Jana hopes her books inspire my readers to make a positive difference in the world. Jana is the first and current Writer-In-Residence at Herman Melville's beloved Berkshire, Massachusetts home, Arrowhead. That means she has the amazing opportunity to write in Herman Melville's study and look out at the view that inspired his great work, Moby Dick. Jana is also a teacher with a Master’s degree in Education. She has taught almost every grade level from kindergarten to University and taught regular subjects and some unusual subjects, such as Mandarin Chinese and ESL.
